1 - Whenever I see your book reviews I'm ashamedly reminded of how much literature I don't read.

Aside from kids stories I've read little more than a handful of books from the fiction section:

James Herbert - Rats Trilogy (borrowed from my brother)
Clive Barker - Weaveworld (gift)
The Bible
War Of The Worlds - HG Wells
Black Cloud - Fred Hoyle

That's it!

2 - *Don't* measure your reading efforts against me... I'm admittedly an "abnormal variation" in this area.

Many just shorten that to "abnormal"...

Igor: And you won't be angry?
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: I will NOT be angry.
Igor: Abby someone.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Abby someone. Abby who?
Igor: Abby Normal.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Abby Normal?
Igor: I'm almost sure that was the name.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Are you saying that I put an abnormal brain into a seven and a half foot long, fifty-four inch wide GORILLA? IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE TELLING ME?

Seems appropriate to me!

4 - I'd like to see a blog entry like, "Duffbert's Guide to Java Certification - Favorite Books". Or any of your other certifications. There are lot's 'o books out there.
