Gary Devendorf and the Advisor conferences...

Category Microsoft

I received the brochures for WebSphere Advisor, Lotus Advisor, and .Net Advisor conferences within the last couple of days.  Gary Devendorf, who is now a "Microsoft Evangelist", is listed as a speaker for the WebSphere and Lotus Advisor conferences, but not the .Net conference...

Someone want to explain *that* one to me???

Comments

Gravatar Image1 - Easy -- we ALL love the way that Notes and Domino can can connect to anything anywhere (that's Gary's "in" to the Lotus con), but dedicated .Nuts don't want to know about Domino. (And please don't take this personally, Tom, but I like .NET -- including J# -- more than I like "real" Java. I kinda wish IBM'd take the s/390 port of the CLI and run with it, offering it on everything. It is just so much cleaner than J2EE.)

Gravatar Image2 - I would agree that the session titled Domino and .Net would be a decent crossover topic. The Introduction To Visual Studio .Net For Domino Developers (along with the associated description of the content) sounds like a blatant play for the minds of the Domino faithful. And being that Microsoft is specifically targeting Domino developers this year, it sounds like Microsoft is very happy with getting Gary to speak in this venue...
