Gravatar Image1 - Prompted by this discussion I nipped over to Codestore, and saw that someone was asking whether Jake could publish a tip re producing HTML-compliant Domino apps. His answer was along the lines of "don't bother, give up" so I guess it's clear Domino ain't his bag any more.

Well, OK, fair enough. Why continue with Codestore as it is? Why not move the personal stuff to another 'blog (he has a TypePad site doesn't he?) and use Codestore for general web development, PHP, whatever is flavour of the month? He seems to spend an inordinate amount of time blogging about stuff he hates in Domino, which is pretty counter-productive. Why not enthuse about stuff he _does_ like, and just MOVE ON?!?

Gravatar Image2 - Do you know how to hack xanga? If U do, please email me and tell me

Gravatar Image3 - Yeah, I found that one particularly amusing this morning when I was getting back up to speed with all the blogging activity...

Gravatar Image4 - talking of the "arrogant one", have you seen codestore today? no wonder so many notes people are switching off

Gravatar Image5 - I understand your sentiments, Ben... I quickly tire of rant arguments or arrogant tirades, and I simply avoid them whenever possible. I don't think of Jake as arrogant, but perhaps others do. I think that if you've gone on to other technologies, fine. But let's not waste time trying to denigrate things that others find useful. That's also one of the reasons why I find the whole Notes/J2EE discussion topic distasteful all too often. They are both good technologies with their strong and weak points. Let's use them for what they are good for and move on.

Gravatar Image6 - Too funny! I guess when you try to transition to a less-techy approach, you'll alienate some of your readers who are there for that alone. Since I never claimed to be "tech-only", I've already lost the readers I would have irritated!

Gravatar Image7 - Oh, I particularly like "jake howlett arrogant".
