Duffbert's Random Musings is a weblog semi/sorta related to IBM/Lotus Notes & Domino software, but I don't let that be a limiting criteria. I'm Thomas Duff, and you can find out more about me here...

- Having never been at LS i couldn't say for definite but they do bear a passing resemblence to "Bucky balls" (The BuckmeisterFullerine structure of Crystalline Carbon)... OR... did LS swag ever include a Kaleidescope?

- @Steve... Bucky balls were never handed out at Lotusphere. As for your second guess, the judges needed more information than that, as in "details". :)

- Actually, you'd never know if buckyballs were being handed out, since they're about a nanometer across. We could have dozens of them from Lotusphere '97 and not know it!

- I think I still have some stuff from Lotusphere '97 - will check for buckyballs immediately. Unfortunately, my eyesight has deteriorated since then.

- I know it is a Kaleidoscope from 2007. In a flat box, actually part of the box as in embedded in the box. Definitely a Lotus Yellow colored box. Can't remember any more details. I'll have to see if i can find it anywhere...

- You're close, Dec... It *is* a Kaleidoscope, and it *is* Lotus, but not from 2007. Now y'all have to figure out what product it was pushing... :)
